Marianne Morild (b. 1972) is a Norwegian visual artist.

Marianne Morild paints landscapes, in a painterly language that balances somewhere between figurative and abstract images. She is concerned with the expression of paint, the colours and textures of the material and its relationship to the motif. The work raises questions about what we consider of value on our planet, what things we decide to explore, preserve, care for or exploit.

Morild was educated at Central Saint Martin´s College of Art and Chelsea College of Art, London, and now lives and works in Norway.

Her work has been shown in exhibitions in Norway, Sweden, Great Britain, Taiwan and France, and is in private collections around the world.
